We're Back, Bitch!- Posted by:

¤ Okay, moving the site was
NOT supposed to be that hard. The people handling my original
server were very unhelpful, which is why I moved. The next
group was a group of complete idiots. Which is why I was
down for about 2 weeks.
This new group is just plain awesome. I didn't
get to do any of the cool things I wanted to for the site
since I spent most of it arguing with the server folks,
but now that we're back 100%, I am going to be getting around
to it, and I think it shall be fun and make this place even
better.
Good thing nothing exciting in HIMland took
place other than the news that they're coming back to
the US in November and December! No dates have been
confirmed as of yet, but you can rest assured we will post
them for you when we do get them.
Also, the Media section may not be working
just yet, but that's because a few people decided to try
and steal my files and links, not to mention my bandwidth.
There are steps being taken now to prevent all of that.
I don't care if you use the file, but host it on your own
motherfucking server and use your own motherfucking bandwidth.
So, as the ever-annoying saying goes, sit
tight sweethearts!

¤ Note: So many little things
changed between the original posting and today's update,
so I have combined them into one well-developed update.
¤ Recently a new, unknown HIM song
surfaced. So far, here is all we know: We have no idea what
the name of it is. We have no idea where it came from, but
there are ideas floating around:
Some say it could be an early track from
a 1998 session with John Fryer, as a demo to "Death
Is In Love With Us" (hence the similar lyrics) or just
something he did with Jimmy Pop while he was in the US recently.
My money is on the first theory.
Fans of Depeche Mode will love this. By the
way, this one is now the full, mastered version of the song,
which includes a badass guitar solo and outro!

Super-Dooper Unknown HIM Song
AKA: Fear for the Best, Hope For the Worst
AKA: Too Happy to Be Alive (My personal choice)
AKA: Who the fuck knows
Extra special thanks and credit: Rod, Tyler/MMHH
¤ Also, a reader sent in the
lyrics to the "Super-Dooper
Unknown HIM Song" that is apparently called "Too
Happy to Be Alive." Also, he has sent in this bit of
info:
Just a little info that might interest
you: I was watching TV the other day and a commercial came
on for a skateboard store called West 49 which we have here
in Canada. In the background of the commercial was "Join
Me" playing. It was a Bam related commercial so no
wonder it was playing.
Credit to: -- Kevin -- for both the lyrics
and the tidbit!
¤ I posted up about 8 more wallpapers,
so check them out. My buddies Graphix-Goddess
and Poison_Girl_112
sent them in, also do me a favor and check out their personal
sites!
¤ I forgot to post this video a long
time ago, and now I've forgotten who sent it in, but here's
a clip of Solitary
Man from the Glass House show last month.
And here's a
clip of Right Here In My Arms from the Download Festival
about two weeks ago. (Credit: Edd)

¤ Hey kids, love to shop for HIM stuff?
HIM
Online has launched a new store and it has a ton of
stuff! Check
it out.
¤ Though I wanted to hold off a bit
on this until I got a few more to post, I decided to post
updated versions of Highfield Festival 2003 and the Vilar
De Mouros 2003 shows. The Highfield disc was previously
a TAO show and I cut it and added three bonus tracks to
the end. The Vilar De Mouros show had a previously erroneous
tracklist.

De Mouros (7.18)

Festival (8.16)

¤ I received a review of the HIM show
in Arizona on May 8th. Thanks to Justin W. for sending this
in! You can check it out here.
I also got pictures from the the April 18th
show in Boston. Download the Zip file here.

¤ First things first...the show Monday
night at New Jersey's Starland Ballroom was recorded and
it has arrived. You can check out more
information here. (Credit: Reaper)
If there are others, please let me know,
and we'll set up a trade. I'm willing to do 3:1 for video
(full/most show) and 2:1 audio (full/most show)
And while we're on the Starland show, Lori
has sent this tidbit in:
Hi Jay,
I have an interesting tidbit of information - while waiting
by the tourbus at the Starland Ballroom a security guy was
keeping us posted as to what the guys were doing. At one
point he came out and said he thought they would be awhile
cuz they were drinking and Universal Records was there and
they were signing a contract with them. So, Universal will
be their record company here in the States. (no surprise,
really, but thought you would like to know)
So, here's a photo of Ville meeting the fans that waited
- he took a lot of time and was really patient and kind.
Ciao,
Lori
My guess is that Universal is planning to
release the other HIM albums in the states, which is great
news! Here
is the photo she was talking about.
¤ Secondly, a review of the Richmond,
VA show was sent in. You can read
that here. Heather, the reviewer and friend, was nice
enough to attach some pictures of her adventure. Thanks!

¤ Cher Hell (Cheryl) is the shit.
Sorry, but it's true. She was kind enough to scan the May
2004 issue of Kerrang! which has an article about HIM being
in the US. Pretty interesting.

¤ On Unearthed.com
you can read reviews of the shows above, and the May 6th
show. There are pictures included as well. Check out the
review here.
I also have an
exclusive review of the latest Philly show and DC shows
via my friend Kathy. Check that out, it's an interesting
read. You'll learn new things (Ville changed the lyrics
of Razorblade Kiss to "the taste from your hips,
the taste from your tits") and recall old things you
knew already (People in DC are assholes.)
¤ I have two more A Perfect Circle
audio bootlegs. To view our full list, click here.
On a side note, I am now trading full-time again so feel
free to hit me up with a trade
request.
